Resilient Relationships
Connecting Across the Distance
Sharing a Cultural Connection
Living someplace different changes our perspective of life. Part of maintaining the "sense of connection" to each other is including others in our cultural connection. This page has information regarding Lajes, Azores. I hope it will provide ideas for people in other places to share their cultural experiences together. Even in the U.S. there are regional differences in our food and hobbies.
For Lajes, I wanted to share video links to help create a cultural connection and a balanced perspective between “topical island retreat” and “remote feelings of isolation”. I wish I could find a way to share information about the warmth and kindness of the Azorean people. It has been a priveledge to live here!
The website is still a work in progress, so please be patient while we develop videos to share with you.
