Section 2:  Creating a Better Plan:  Balance your communication plan so it isn’t overtaken with “venting frustration”.  Consider creating a "color code" for conversations:  Blue-nurturing the relationship, Gold-Business meeting about finances, planning purchases, Orange-having fun, spontaneous, adventure, Green-Planning for the future such as assignment, education, and other significant decisions.   Give the other person time to prepare for the conversation you need.  Agree how you will handle non-verbal communication and social media.
